In a goodwill message issued by the IPF leadership, the Forum described Tompolo as a figure whose legacy continues to shape conversations around peace, unity, and regional advancement. The statement, jointly signed by IPF National President Ozobo Austin and Secretary-General Tare Magbei, emphasized that the anniversary presents an opportunity to reflect on his contributions beyond the celebratory moment.
According to the Forum, Tompolo’s role in the Niger Delta struggle and his commitment to the progress of the Ijaw nation remain significant, noting that his leadership style has inspired a generation of stakeholders across the region.
The statement partly read: “We celebrate his life, leadership, and contributions to the Ijaw nation and Nigeria. Tompolo’s vision, courage, and resilience have inspired many, and his commitment to the development of the Niger Delta region is commendable.”
IPF further acknowledged his efforts in promoting Ijaw cultural identity, describing them as critical to sustaining unity and preserving heritage in the face of evolving socio-political realities.
While extending birthday wishes, the Forum also expressed hope for continued impact, stating that Tompolo’s journey remains vital to ongoing conversations about peacebuilding and economic stability in the oil-rich region.

A prominent member of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYREP) and Delta State APC leader, Madam Beauty Warejuwowei, has extended warm birthday felicitations to Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Father Igologolo, Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited.

Otuaro Felicitates Igali at 66, Hails Contributions to Niger Delta Development

The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Chief (Dr.) Dennis Otuaro, has congratulated Amb. (Dr.) Boladei Igali, National Chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), on the occasion of his 66th birthday.

According to a statement issued on April 4, 2026, by Mr Igoniko Oduma, Special Assistant on Media to the PAP Administrator, Otuaro described Igali as an accomplished diplomat, respected elder statesman and a prominent figure in the Niger Delta whose contributions have continued to impact national and regional development.

He commended the former Nigerian ambassador to Scandinavian countries for his distinguished career in public service, noting that his leadership and intellectual contributions have earned him recognition both within and outside Nigeria.

According to the PAP boss, Igali’s service to Bayelsa State, the Ijaw nation and the broader Niger Delta remains commendable, describing him as a “pillar of the region” whose voice continues to carry influence on critical issues.

Otuaro also acknowledged Igali’s continued relevance in public life despite his retirement from active service, highlighting his dedication to peace-building and development initiatives in the Niger Delta.

“Ambassador Igali distinguished himself as a seasoned career diplomat and public servant. Though retired, he is not tired. He has continued to devote himself to the peace and development of the Niger Delta,” Otuaro said.

He further described the PANDEF chairman as a source of inspiration in national service, praying for continued wisdom, good health and longevity.
