Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan @ 68:
A Heartfelt Congratulatory Message
It is with immense joy and profound respect that I, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, founder and chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), extend my warmest felicitations and best wishes to His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, on the milestone celebration of his 68th birthday.
On behalf of TSSNL, and all Nigerians who cherish exemplary leadership, I salute a distinguished statesman whose legacy has been etched in the annals of Nigeria’s democratic evolution.
Dr. Jonathan’s journey from humble beginnings to the pinnacle of Nigerian politics is a beacon of hope and inspiration for generations yet unborn. President Jonathan’s tenure was marked by remarkable accomplishments, grounded in his deep commitment to democratic values, national unity, and economic transformation.
Under his visionary leadership, Nigeria achieved unprecedented milestones that altered its trajectory on the global stage. A defining moment of his administration was the rebasing of Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which catapulted the nation to become the largest economy in Africa and placed it among the top economies worldwide.
This historic feat was not merely a statistical victory but a confirmation of Nigeria’s vast potential and prominence on the continent. Coupled with this, the inflow of foreign direct investments surged remarkably, signaling global confidence in Nigeria’s economic prospects.
In an era when credible elections were often elusive in many African states, President Jonathan championed electoral reforms that enhanced transparency and credibility, earning global commendations.
His administration empowered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct free, fair, and peaceful elections, culminating in the honor of being the first Nigerian leader to concede electoral defeat gracefully—an act that strengthened Nigeria’s democracy profoundly.
Education and youth empowerment were central pillars of his transformation agenda. His government established twelve new federal universities and numerous technical institutions, broadening access to quality education nationwide.
The Almajiri education program integrated Western and Islamic education, aiming to uplift vulnerable children in northern Nigeria. Furthermore, initiatives like YOUWIN fostered entrepreneurship among youths, creating thousands of jobs that invigorated the economy.
The revival of Nigeria’s long-neglected railway system under his stewardship was also a landmark achievement. Rail lines across key corridors were rehabilitated, reintroducing a reliable and affordable mode of transportation for millions. This advancement not only facilitated commerce and mobility but also reaffirmed his commitment to infrastructural development as a foundation for sustainable growth.
President Jonathan’s tenure tackled critical sectors that had long hampered Nigeria’s progress. The power sector witnessed revived investments and reforms under the National Integrated Power Project (NIPP), aimed to alleviate the country’s stubborn energy crisis.
Moreover, his administration remodeled and upgraded airports nationwide, increasing Nigeria’s global connectivity and enhancing air safety standards. In foreign policy and national unity, Dr. Jonathan’s statesmanship was defined by inclusiveness and diplomacy.
He promoted peaceful coexistence among Nigeria’s diverse peoples, fostering dialogue and understanding. His leadership stabilized Nigeria during turbulent times, proving indispensable to the country’s stability.
As the founder of TSSNL, a company deeply committed to national development and security, I personally admire and celebrate these hallmarks of President Jonathan’s leadership. His legacy is a testimony to the power of steadfast dedication and patriotic service.
On this special occasion, as we celebrate your 60th birthday, Your Excellency, I pray for continued good health, wisdom, and strength as you continue to serve as a role model and statesman of great influence.
May your example, especially your extraordinary act of statesmanship and patriotism of conceding defeat and congratulating your successor at a difficult and delicate moment inspire future leaders to pursue the ideals of excellence, integrity, and resilience.
Once again, congratulations on this remarkable milestone.
Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited stands with all Nigerians in honoring your legacy and wishing you happiness and fulfillment in the years ahead.
Happy 68th Birthday, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan!
