Family Announces Postponement of the Burial of Late Billionaire Prince, Presley Iyalagha

The family of the late Prince Presley Isele Gere Iyalagha, Iduwini borne Prince, businessman, and illustrious lesder of Odimodi, Delta State, has announced the postponement of his burial earlier scheduled for Friday, August 29, 2025.

“NOTICE! NOTICE!! NOTICE!!!

“We, the family of late Prince Presley Iyalagha, regret to inform the general public that Prince Presley Iyalagha burial has been postponed due to pressing issues.

“The public will be properly informed as soon as the burial date is fixed by the family.” The statement issued by the family states in part.

The family expressed deep regrets over the decision, citing pressing internal family issues that necessitated the postponement.

“Please, we’re very sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you.” the statement added.

The family assured that a new date would be communicated earlier in due course.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause friends, associates, and well-wishers. We deeply appreciate your prayers, support, and understanding during this trying period of grief,” the statement concluded.

Prince Presley Iyalagha, son of the late Ibenanaowei of Iduwini Kingdom, Delta State, HRM. Gere J. Iyalagha (Igbedikuru-II), was a former President of the Iduwini National Youth Council for Peace and Development, popularly known as (National Body), who passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the very young age of 48, after a very brief illness. Until his death, he was the founder and CEO of Preslyn Resources Ltd., a multi-billion naira homegrown oil & gas servicing, and construction company with a reputable track record.

He is survived by a wife, six children, aged mother, one immediate brother and three sisters, and many half brothers and sisters, and relatives.

The family urged the public to remain patient and keep them in prayers as they travail these very tempting times and prepare to their son a befitting farewell when a new date is fixed.

Negerese to Chair Tantita Amatu Unit Grand End-of-Year Celebration on Dec. 29

Amatu-1&2 communities in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State will come alive on December 29, 2025, as top entertainer Chief Kingsley A. Takemebo (DJ Leader Marrow) headlines the Amatu Unit end-of-year party organised by Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited.

The event, according to the programme sighted by Iduwini Ibe Reporters, will be coordinated by Comrade Ebi O. Rames, former Chairman of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Iduwini Clan Central Zone, who chairs the Planning Committee.

Renowned Niger Delta philanthropist Chief (Hon.) Berry Negerese will serve as Chairman of the Occasion, while the Royal Fathers of the Day are HRH Dr. Decca E. Keredei, Amananawei of Amatu 1 Community, and HRH Eric Ebifiegbenne, representing Amatu 2 Community as Special Guest of Honour.

The celebration will feature rich side attractions, including inter-quarters canoe races, female football clashes-Agge vs. Ezetu and Ogbotobo vs. Ekeremor-and cultural dance competitions for both male and female groups. Chief hosts of the occasion are the Amatu Unit coordinators of Tantita, Mr. Man Job and Mr. Firstboy Job.

This is coming in the wake of many other events to mark the yuletide as Amatu will also play host National Union of Ekeremor Local Government Students Worldwide (NUES) holds its 22nd Annual Elective Convention from December 28-30, 2025, themed “Empowering Minds Through Education, Shaping the Future.”

Organisers are using this medium to invite the general public to join both celebrations, with activities peaking on December 29.
