Akpos Seimode, frontline Burutu LGA Chairmanship Aspirant in the 2024 DESIEC LGA elections, have concluded a transformative three-day intensive training programme on Leadership, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Mediation. The programme was organised by the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) in collaboration with the Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) and held at the Centre’s facility in Asokoro, Abuja.

At the official closing ceremony, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Chief Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaro PhD. presented certificates of participation to the attendees. In his address, he emphasized the importance of the knowledge gained during the programme, urging them Leaders to apply the lessons in resolving conflicts, strengthening community engagement, and supporting national unity.
“This training is not just about learning new skills – it’s about equipping you to be ambassadors of peace and agents of transformation within your communities and beyond,” Dr. Otuaro stated.
The initiative marks another step in PAP’s efforts to reinforce the reintegration phase of the Amnesty Programme by building leadership capacity at the grassroots level. Participants, like Pst.
