This is coming on the heels of the recently demonstrated remarkable compassion and social responsibility by Tantita Security Services Ltd, led by High Chief Keston Pondi FNSE, who paid the full sum of Thirty Million Naira (₦30,000,000) to cover the cost of a critical kidney transplant surgery for Barr. Last Friday, news of the company’s generosity spread, bringing immense relief to Etifa, his family members and the general public. This charitable gesture underscores Tantita Security Services’ dedication not only to securing national assets but also to the welfare of individuals in need.

“To me, Tantita is more than just another company. It is either building roads or houses for security men. It is either empowering Youths or talented Nigerians. And now, Tantita is saving lives.

“We should always put Chief Keston and Tompolo in our prayers for God’s guidance and protection,” the IduwiniVoice CEO emphasized.

“This inspiring act of kindness highlights the importance of extending support to those facing life-threatening challenges. Barr. Etifa Jonathan now has renewed hope for recovery, thanks to the timely intervention of Tantita Security Services.” Bibaikefie concluded.

LETUGBENE, Bayelsa State – In an inspiring show of leadership and community-driven development, the good people of Letugbene Community have sent their applause to members of the Sagbama/Ekeremor Host Community Development Trust Board (HCDTB), Mr. Bennet Friday and Pastor Imiemene David, for their historic intervention in lighting up the community with solar streetlights-a project that has significantly improved security and wellbeing in the community.

This was contained in a statement signed by Comr. Wisdom Kurobo Aladdin, the community development committee (CDC) Chairman of Letugbene Community, a copy of which was made available to IduwiniVoice news desk.

The statement read in full:

“APPRECIATION & ENCOURAGEMENT MESSAGE TO MEMBERS OF SAGBAMA/EKEREMOR HOST COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TRUST BOARD (HCDTB)

“On behalf of the Community Development Committee (CDC) of Letugbene, the Chairman, Comr. Wisdom Kurobo Aladdin, heartily applauds and commends Mr. Bennet Friday and Pastor Imiemene David, distinguished Members of the Sagbama/Ekeremor Host Community Development Trust Board (HCDTB).

“In line with policies that emulate the Niger Delta Development Commission’s (NDDC) Operation Light Up Niger Delta Initiative, these noble Trustees have taken it upon themselves to extend meaningful development to our people. At a time when both the Government and the Chairman of Ekeremor Local Government Council have neglected Letugbene in terms of solar light projects, these two leaders rose to the challenge and ensured that Letugbene community is lit up with solar lights.

“This gesture is not only commendable but also historic, as it has greatly improved security, visibility, and the general well-being of our people.

“The CDC and the entire Letugbene Federated Communities deeply appreciate this visionary intervention. As Chairman, Comr. Wisdom Kurobo Aladdin assures both Trustees of the community’s full support and confidence, even to the point of backing their return for a second tenure as members of the HCDTB.

“We encourage them not to relent but to continue initiating and executing more viable projects that will foster unity, growth, and sustainable development across our communities.

“Your commitment to community advancement is duly acknowledged, and we look forward to more impactful strides in the near future.

This commendable gesture stands as a beacon of hope, reminding Niger Delta leaders and communities of what is possible when leaders place people first. With renewed confidence in the Trustees, the Letugbene Community Development Committee (CDC) urges them to remain steadfast in their mission of sustainable growth and development for host communities, assuring continued support for greater strides in community transformation.

IPDI Dismisses Baseless Petition Against PAP Administrator Otuaro

The Ijaw People’s Development Initiative (IPDI) has strongly condemned what it describes as a “baseless and fabricated” petition against the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro. The petition, allegedly filed by a group called the Niger Delta Liberators and Ex-Agitators Forum (NDLEF), was published in Punch and Vanguard newspapers on February 8, 2025.

In a press statement signed by Comrade Ozobo Austin, the National President of IPDI, the group dismissed the petition as a desperate attempt to tarnish Otuaro’s reputation and derail his ongoing reforms in the PAP office. IPDI described the NDLEF as a “faceless and non-existent” organization with no legal standing to issue such allegations.

No Missing Funds, No Wrongdoing

Addressing the claims made in the petition, IPDI categorically stated that there are no missing funds in the PAP office and that Otuaro’s leadership remains transparent and accountable. The statement emphasized that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has no reason to investigate the PAP administrator, as all financial transactions within the office are well-documented and monitored by the presidency.

“The EFCC cannot entertain petitions that are based on mere hearsay and propaganda,” the statement read. “The allegations are nothing but a concoction of lies aimed at misleading the public and sabotaging the reforms being implemented in the PAP office.”

Attack on Otuaro and Tompolo

IPDI further alleged that the petition was orchestrated by Jude Gbaboyor, whom they described as a disgruntled individual seeking to regain influence after being dismissed by the previous PAP administration led by General Ndiomu. The group accused Gbaboyor of being a serial petition writer who has made it a habit to threaten and intimidate government officials for personal gain.

“The public is already familiar with Gbaboyor’s antics. His latest petition is no different from previous ones that were dismissed for lacking substance,” the statement continued. “His actions are an attempt to undermine not just Dr. Otuaro but also High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo.”

IPDI Stands Firm with Otuaro

The Ijaw group reaffirmed its unwavering support for Otuaro and his ongoing reforms, urging Niger Delta leaders and stakeholders to reject the smear campaign and instead focus on supporting the PAP administrator in achieving his developmental goals.

“We call on all well-meaning Niger Delta stakeholders to stand with Dr. Otuaro as he continues to reposition the PAP for the benefit of our people,” the statement concluded.

The controversy highlights the ongoing political and administrative battles within the Niger Delta region, particularly concerning the management of the Presidential Amnesty Programme. Despite these challenges, IPDI maintains that Otuaro remains committed to his mandate and will not be distracted by “falsehoods and propaganda.”
