Nollywood Actress Kate Henshaw Opens Up About Encounter with Davido: “I’m not a Davido fan, I met him and he didn’t greet me”

In a surprising revelation, renowned Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has stirred a wave of discussion after disclosing her personal encounter with Nigerian music sensation, Davido. Henshaw, known for her timeless beauty and versatile acting skills, shared her experience during a recent interview, shedding light on what transpired when she met the Afrobeat star in person.

Expressing her admiration for Davido’s musical talent, Henshaw made it clear that she does not consider herself a fan due to a lack of personal acquaintance with the artist. “I like Davido’s music but I’m not a fan because personally, I don’t know him,” Henshaw stated candidly.

However, it was her account of their meeting that captured attention. Recounting the encounter, Henshaw revealed, “The first time I met him, he didn’t greet me, and for me, I believe he should have been respectful enough to greet me.” This statement has sparked conversations across social media platforms, with fans and observers weighing in on the importance of basic courtesy and respect, especially in social interactions.

Despite acknowledging Davido’s musical accomplishments and positive contributions to the industry, Henshaw emphasized the significance of character and personal conduct. “I know he’s a good artist and he has done a lot of good things, but personally, I don’t know him, and to me, personality matters,” she remarked.

Drawing attention to Davido’s privileged background, Henshaw highlighted her own achievements, suggesting that despite differences in upbringing, mutual respect should prevail in all encounters. “He has also proven that despite his father’s money, this is my own achievement,” she added.

Concluding her remarks on a poignant note, Henshaw referred to her interaction with Davido as “a tragedy,” hinting at the disappointment she experienced during their brief encounter. The actress’s candid revelation has prompted reflections on the nature of celebrity interactions and the importance of humility and courtesy in public life.

In the wake of Henshaw’s disclosure, social media users have been buzzing with reactions, with many expressing surprise at her revelation and others applauding her honesty. Amidst the discussions, humorous comparisons have emerged, with some speculating how Henshaw’s encounter might have differed if she had met fellow music sensation Wizkid, popularly known as “Big Wiz.”
