The Ijaw Publishers’ Forum (IPF), the apex media body of the Ijaw nation, has named Dr. Agediga, Chairman of the Delta State Scholarship and Bursary Board, as Chairman of the inauguration ceremony for its 2nd National Working Committee (NWC).
The ceremony is slated for February 26, 2026, at the Chief Tunde Smooth Playground, NPA, Warri, Delta State. Prominent leaders and key stakeholders from across the Niger Delta region are expected to grace the occasion.
Adding further prominence to the event, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, will attend as Special Guest of Honour.
IPF describes itself as the intellectual voice of the Ijaw and broader Niger Delta self-determination movement, championing equity, justice, and fair resource distribution within Nigeria.
Under the leadership of Comrade Ozobo, the forum says it has strengthened the visibility and influence of the Ijaw nation within the national media landscape. The inauguration of the 2nd NWC signals a renewed commitment to advancing the forum’s objectives.

The Ijaw Publishers’ Forum (IPF) has announced that the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Otuaro, will grace the inauguration of its new leadership as Special Guest of Honour on February 26, 2026.
The ceremony, scheduled to hold at Chief Tunde Smooth Playground, NPA, Warri, Delta State, will formally usher in the Forum’s second National Executive Council. Organisers describe the event as a landmark moment in the history of the IPF.
Dr. Otuaro’s participation is seen as a reflection of his continued commitment to peace-building and sustainable development in the Niger Delta. The Forum commended his reforms at the PAP, highlighting the revival of previously suspended initiatives such as foreign scholarship schemes, marine and vocational training programmes, leadership development courses, and enhanced stakeholder engagement. PANDEF Honours Edwin Clark One Year After, Says “Your Presence Is Still Mighty”

The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has paid glowing tribute to elder statesman, Sen. Chief Dr. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, OFR, CON, marking one year since his passing, describing his legacy as enduring and impactful.
In a statement issued on February 17, 2026, PANDEF National Chairman, Ambassador Dr. Godknows Igali, said, “Today, we specially remember with fondest memories our father, leader, national icon and statesman, Chief EK Clark.” He noted that “one year its like just yesterday” since the revered nationalist departed at the age of 98.
PANDEF recalled Clark’s final patriotic declaration, quoting him as saying, “I am a Nigeria, I love Nigeria,” emphasizing his lifelong devotion to truth, justice, fairness, and national harmony.
The forum praised his tireless advocacy for the Niger Delta and the South-South, stating that “your toil for the unity, solidarity, national relevance of the Niger Delta… will for endless generations be celebrated and adulated.”
Describing him as courageous and resolute, PANDEF added, “Like a lion, your courage was unmatched and resonated large and wide,” affirming that his ideals and vision remain alive.
A special memorial service was held in his honour at Edwin Clark University, Kiagbodo, where PANDEF urged him to “rest on dear daddy, ‘Gogorogo’,” while reaffirming commitment to sustaining his legacy.
