As Bishop Charles Ikpaka Amabiye Passes On

A renowned legal luminary and Legal Adviser, Ijaw National Congress (INC), Iduwini Chapter, Bayelsa State, Amb. (Prt), (Barr), Jeremiah Charles Ikpaka and family has been thrown into deep mourning as the Amabiye family has announced the passing of Bishop Prt. Charles Ikpaka Amabiye, founder of New Jerusalem City Zion, Amatu II Community, Ekeremor Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.
According to the burial announcement signed by Engr. Samson Charles Ikpaka, for the children; Bishop Amabiye, a respected clergyman, father, grandfather, and community leader, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
Known for his life of faith, service, and leadership, he was the founder and spiritual head of the New Jerusalem City Zion, Amatu-II, Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, and was widely regarded as a spiritual father and mentor to many within and beyond the community.
According to the family, details of the burial arrangements will be announced later.
