Delta State — Niger Delta Good Governance Advocate and Media Executive, Prince (Dr.) Peretengboro Klintin Bibaikefie, has congratulated Dr. Paul Bebenimibo on his recent appointment as Registrar of the Nigerian Maritime University (NMU), Okerenkoko.
Prince Bibaikefie, a native of Iduwini Kingdom and a younger associate of Dr. Bebenimibo, described the appointment as a fitting reward for a man whose academic and managerial strengths have long been evident.
“I am deeply grateful to God that my long-held confidence in Dr. Paul Bebenimibo’s abilities has finally been rewarded. His academic pedigree, leadership qualities, and unwavering dedication have brought him this far,” Bibaikefie said. “I wish him greater heights, divine grace, more wisdom, and continued prosperity as he takes on this vital role.”
Dr. Bebenimibo, who formerly served as Commissioner representing the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality on the board of DESOPADEC, is widely recognized as an authority in Journalism. He is also the current media aide to High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited.
Prior to his new role at NMU, he was the Head of Department of Journalism and Media Studies at Delta State University, Abraka, where he was celebrated for his impactful academic leadership.
His appointment has sparked a wave of commendations from well-wishers, particularly within the Ijaw community, who see it as a testament to hard work, integrity, and visionary service.
