BURUTU LOCAL GOVERNMENT OPENS CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION

Burutu Local Government Area has announced the commencement of contractor registration, inviting interested and qualified individuals to come forward and register with the Tender Board for upcoming projects in line with the government’s developmental agenda.
The notice, signed by the Secretary to the Local Government Council, Barr. Rolands Ombe, stated that the registration is open to contractors who have the requisite qualifications, experience, and competence to handle various government projects.
According to the release, potential contractors must submit key documents, including a Corporate Affairs Certificate, Tax Clearance Certificates for the last three years, two passport photographs, a valid form of identification, a bank reference letter, and evidence of past project experience.
JOB CATEGORIES AND REGISTRATION FEES
The Tender Board outlined various job categories based on project size and corresponding registration fees:
Petty Contractor (N100,000 – N2 million):
Registration: N10,000
Renewal: N2,000
Category A (N2 million – N10 million):
Registration: N20,000
Renewal: N5,000
Category B (N10 million – N50 million):
Registration: N50,000
Renewal: N10,000
Category C (N50 million – N200 million):
Registration: N80,000
Renewal: N15,000
Category D (N200 million and above):
Registration: N200,000
Renewal: N37,000
Interested contractors are urged to register promptly as the local government plans to execute numerous projects aimed at improving the welfare of residents and fulfilling election promises.
The Burutu Local Government Council remains committed to providing opportunities for local contractors to contribute to the development of the area through these projects.

As the third phase national chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), I, General Godstime Ogidigba, would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the PAP administrator, Dr. Dennis Otuaro. The launch of the second phase of laptop distribution to amnesty scholarship beneficiaries is a testament to his dedication to enhancing the learning and research capabilities of our students. I am proud of the strides his administration has taken to prioritize the welfare of our students, marking a significant shift in the narrative of the PAP program.
Under Dr. Otuaro’s leadership, the PAP has witnessed a positive transformation. For the first time in almost a decade, we are seeing tangible results that reflect the program’s true potential. His commitment to the welfare of our students is commendable, and I am confident that his administration will continue to yield positive outcomes.
As the third phase national chairman, I am delighted to give Dr. Otuaro my full support and backing. His leadership style, which prioritizes listening to the people and addressing their needs, is a breath of fresh air. I believe he is the right person to take the PAP program to greater heights, and I look forward to seeing more positive developments under his administration.
