Burutu PDP Gears Up for Ward-to-Ward Campaign Ahead of July Elections

The Burutu Local Government Area chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to continue its comprehensive Ward-to-Ward campaign in preparation for the council elections on July 13, 2024. This announcement was made by Emmanuel Gesikeme Akpule, the party’s Director of Media and Publicity, in a statement released on Tuesday.
The campaign, which spans the LGA’s twenty wards, will progress on Friday, July 5, 2024. The PDP campaign team will visit the following wards: Bolou-Ndoro Ward-06, Ojobo Ward-05, Torugbene Ward-01, and Tamigbe Ward-02.
Ward leaders and party members have been encouraged to gather at their respective ward headquarters to welcome key figures of the campaign, including Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin, the Director-General of the campaign council, the chairmanship candidate Chief Dr. Julius Takeme, his running mate Chief Mrs. Georgina Evah, and other prominent party leaders.
The first day of the three-day campaign was reportedly successful, with large turnouts of men, women, and youths in Wards 11, 10, and 7 enthusiastically receiving the campaign team. Stay updated with IduwiniVoice for ongoing coverage of the campaign activities.

Hon. Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme (JP), the Chairmanship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Burutu Local Government Council Election, has successfully concluded his 4-day Ward-to-Ward campaign across the 20 Wards of the local government council.
The campaign ship of Chief Takeme and his Councilorship candidates moored at its final harbour in the course of the weekend at Ogbolubiri Ward 9; a successful campaign he dedicated to God, while urging the electorates to come out in their numbers to vote for the PDP come July 13,2024
In the words of Hon. Takeme: “for the past four days, we have been campaigning from one Ward to the other. We went through the 20 Wards in the Local Government. We started from Ogulagha/Iduwini and went through all the wards.
“We want to start by thanking God Almighty because it is only God that can make it possible. It is only him that saw us through, as we drove through all the 20 wards.
“We traveled thousands of kilometers, sometimes in very difficult terrains and not one incident recorded; not one accident. In fact, we give thanks to Almighty God.
“First, let me start with the Chairman of our Campaign Council, Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin DG; Deputy Campaign, Secretary Campaign Council and other members of the Campaign Council for their wonderful and overwhelming coordination. Indeed we are deeply grateful for the continued support. May God bless you all”.
Dr Takeme went on to express his appreciation to stakeholders, party faithfuls, and supporters for their unwavering support and commitment to his vision, assuring them that he will not disappoint them if elected.
