CHIEF TOMONE ATTENDS DSIEC STAKEHOLDERS MEETING, PROMISES AN INCLUSIVE ADMINISTRATION IF ELECTED CHAIRMAN, BURUTU LGA

Yesterday, the Chairmanship hopeful of Burutu Government Council, Chief ( Dr.) Godspower Tomone attended the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission Stakeholders meeting at Asaba, where he thanked the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon (Elder) Sheriff F.O Oborevwore for the “No Imposition of Candidates” statement, as it will strengthen the party and give place for fairness and justice to prevail.
Chief Tomone while lauding the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission for the strides it has made so far touching the forthcoming council election, also enjoined DSEIC to make sure the forthcoming Local Government Council election is held on the grounds of fairness and credibility .
Dr. Tomone also used the opportunity to reaffirm his commitment towards consolidating Governor Sheriff Oborevwore’s MORE Agenda in Burutu Local Government , promising to steer an inclusive government if elected Chairman of Burutu Local Government come July 20th,2024.

Hon. Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme (JP), the Chairmanship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Burutu Local Government Council Election, has successfully concluded his 4-day Ward-to-Ward campaign across the 20 Wards of the local government council.
The campaign ship of Chief Takeme and his Councilorship candidates moored at its final harbour in the course of the weekend at Ogbolubiri Ward 9; a successful campaign he dedicated to God, while urging the electorates to come out in their numbers to vote for the PDP come July 13,2024
In the words of Hon. Takeme: “for the past four days, we have been campaigning from one Ward to the other. We went through the 20 Wards in the Local Government. We started from Ogulagha/Iduwini and went through all the wards.
“We want to start by thanking God Almighty because it is only God that can make it possible. It is only him that saw us through, as we drove through all the 20 wards.
“We traveled thousands of kilometers, sometimes in very difficult terrains and not one incident recorded; not one accident. In fact, we give thanks to Almighty God.
“First, let me start with the Chairman of our Campaign Council, Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin DG; Deputy Campaign, Secretary Campaign Council and other members of the Campaign Council for their wonderful and overwhelming coordination. Indeed we are deeply grateful for the continued support. May God bless you all”.
Dr Takeme went on to express his appreciation to stakeholders, party faithfuls, and supporters for their unwavering support and commitment to his vision, assuring them that he will not disappoint them if elected.
