In a statement personally issued to the press in Warri, Delta State, on Sunday, Ambassador Ukori conveyed his profound gratitude to all who extended their sympathies and support to his family during their time of mourning.
“It is difficult to find the words to express our gratitude for the many kindnesses you have shown us during this sad time,” Ambassador Ukori expressed in his statement. “I am touched by the support and care extended by everyone during the time of my dearly beloved wife’s funeral.”
The statement further highlighted the significance of the gestures of kindness received from well-wishers, including prayers, phone calls, messages, comforting words, and visits, which all contributed to easing the burden of grief for the Ukori family.
