The service of songs, held on Thursday at her husband’s residence in Oilfield Road, Effurun, Warri, Delta State, was a poignant occasion filled with fond memories and reflections on Pastor Jane’s impactful life.
Described as a woman of valour and deep faith, Pastor Jane touched the lives of many through her humanitarian work, charity efforts, and unwavering dedication to God. As a faithful servant in the Holy Jesus Mission, she was known for her diligence, humility, and commitment to serving others.
Among the heartfelt tributes, Ambassador Jude Ukori, Pastor Jane’s husband, expressed his profound grief and recounted their journey together over 22 years. He described her as his source of inspiration and strength, highlighting her qualities as a loving wife, prophetess, friend, and mother.
Ambassador Ukori lamented the tragic loss of his beloved wife, recalling their plans for a peaceful retirement after years of hard work and dedication. He praised Pastor Jane’s virtues, including her generosity, courage, and resilience, and expressed his deep sorrow at her untimely passing.
Reflecting on their last moments together, Ambassador Ukori shared his anguish at witnessing Pastor Jane’s sudden decline in health, leaving him heartbroken and facing the daunting task of raising their children alone. Despite his grief, he found solace in their shared faith and the belief that Pastor Jane now rests in peace in the arms of the Lord.
The service of songs was a poignant reminder of Pastor Jane’s enduring legacy and the indelible impact she made on the lives of those around her. As friends, family, and well-wishers continue to mourn her loss, they take comfort in the knowledge that her light will continue to shine bright in their hearts.

However, her body will be committed to mother earth after a Christian Funeral Service at her home town on April 27, 2024.

Warri – Niger Delta youth leader, Dennis Kpaidia, has congratulated Double Chief Boro Opudu, Chairman of the Delta State Waterways and Land Security Committee, and his wife, Chief Mrs. Boro Opudu, on their recent Chieftaincy conferments.
Chief Opudu was bestowed with the prestigious title of “Olotu (War Chest) of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom” during the activities marking Day One of the ongoing Seven-day 10th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Couple Mackson Oromoni (JP), Monbene-III, Pere Ama-Okosu of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom. His wife, Chief Mrs. Opudu, also received a Chieftaincy title in recognition of her contributions to society.
In a personally signed statement, Mr. Kpaidia described the honours as a “well-deserved achievement,” acknowledging the couple’s years of selfless service to the Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, the Ijaw nation, Delta state, and the Niger Delta at large.
He particularly lauded Chief Opudu’s commitment to ensuring a peaceful and secure environment that has enabled commerce and development to thrive across Delta State.
