As the 2024 Local Government Chairmanship election draws closer, Amb. Chief, Ap. (Dr.) Godspower Tomone popularly known as Godspenal, a frontline Chairmanship aspirant for Burutu Local Government Election has reaffirmed his total commitment to the leaders in Burutu Local Government Area, if elected as a Council chairman.
Dr. Godspower Tomone stated this during the week while having engagement with some teeming supporters, whose pledge to vigorously canvass support for their principal and the party aimed at bringing all round development to the Local Government. “My Divine Mandate Administration will carry party leaders, opinions leaders, party faithfuls, stakeholders and the entire Burutu Local Government along. It will be an inclusive representation of children, youths, women, men and elderly.” ” There will be a total commitment to the leadership of Burutu LGA, always having constructive engagement with them and other critical stakeholders to build synergy to consolidate Governor Sheriff Oborevwore’s MORE AGENDA in the Local Government”, Dr. Tomone affirms .
He also promised to select the best and most qualified persons to hold positions in the Local Government, run an open door policy and seek advice from the learned one ,the wise and the good people of Burutu LGA ,in the common man resides much wisdom and thoughts. “My Divine Mandate Administration will focus on human capital development, infrastructural development and security, and we will fulfilled our promises and deliver those pillars of development. We are most confidence that we will succeed in setting Burutu LGA on a new trajectory of economic growth and developmental platform that will be unprecedented in our entire history “,

Hon. Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme (JP), the Chairmanship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Burutu Local Government Council Election, has successfully concluded his 4-day Ward-to-Ward campaign across the 20 Wards of the local government council.
The campaign ship of Chief Takeme and his Councilorship candidates moored at its final harbour in the course of the weekend at Ogbolubiri Ward 9; a successful campaign he dedicated to God, while urging the electorates to come out in their numbers to vote for the PDP come July 13,2024
In the words of Hon. Takeme: “for the past four days, we have been campaigning from one Ward to the other. We went through the 20 Wards in the Local Government. We started from Ogulagha/Iduwini and went through all the wards.
“We want to start by thanking God Almighty because it is only God that can make it possible. It is only him that saw us through, as we drove through all the 20 wards.
“We traveled thousands of kilometers, sometimes in very difficult terrains and not one incident recorded; not one accident. In fact, we give thanks to Almighty God.
“First, let me start with the Chairman of our Campaign Council, Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin DG; Deputy Campaign, Secretary Campaign Council and other members of the Campaign Council for their wonderful and overwhelming coordination. Indeed we are deeply grateful for the continued support. May God bless you all”.
Dr Takeme went on to express his appreciation to stakeholders, party faithfuls, and supporters for their unwavering support and commitment to his vision, assuring them that he will not disappoint them if elected.
