Seriake Dickson, former Governor of Bayelsa State, lends his support to ‘The Sun and Venus,’ a forthcoming book by Mrs. Iniye Ingo Anyanebechi, set to be unveiled on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
Delving into the uncelebrated yet formidable influence of fathers on their daughters, THE SUN AND VENUS explores the pivotal role fathers play in shaping the journey of their girl children. The book emphasizes the positive impact a father’s guidance has on fortifying the girl child for the challenges ahead.
Recognizing women as crucial gatekeepers in society, the narrative underscores their multifaceted roles as daughters, wives, and mothers—shapers of the next generation. The event is scheduled at Manuex Place, Okuisiko Junction, along Jakpa Road, Effurun, Delta State, and will be chaired by activist Comrade Joseph Evah. Senator Dickson, the Special Guest of Honour, will be accompanied by Chief Launcher Godknows Angele, the Honorable Commissioner for Housing, Delta State.
