Chief, Engr. Ogbonna I. Nwachi Ignites Jubilation in Enohia Itim Community.

A wave of jubilation swept through Enohia Itim, a coastal community in the Afikpo council area of Ebonyi State, following the recent restoration of electricity, spearheaded by the community’s esteemed son and exemplary leader, Engr. Ogbonna Ibru Nwachi.

The community had long suffered from erratic power supply, and conflicting accounts attributed the issue to internal disputes among electricity distributors and actors in the power and energy ministry.

While some viewed the problem as a result of internal conflicts, others attributed it to spiritual causes, resisting political interventions over the past two decades. Prayers were suggested as a solution to lift the community from darkness.

Contrary to these beliefs, Engr. Nwachi took decisive action in a rather practical demonstration of his dissatisfaction with the power situation. He engaged the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company in an intensively comprehensive meeting, resulting in the immediate restoration of electricity to Enohia Itim.

Former Liaison Officer to ex-Governor David Umahi, Hon. Silvanus Nwachi, praised Engr. Ibru Nwachi, stating, “Enohia Itim Community is blessed to have our dear son.” Hon. Nnana Uroh and educationist Hon. Vincent Elem Ude echoed these sentiments, emphasizing Nwachi’s commitment to philanthropy and community development.

APC Chieftain David Eluu Egwu Pajester lauded Nwachi’s evergreen talent-harvesting initiatives, describing him as an “unrepentant harvester of talents” and an “overall good man.”
