Foremost and most accepted aspirant for the Burutu Chairmanship seat 2024, Amb., Chief, Apt., Dr. Godspower Tomone and his Divine Mandate Team paid a consultative visit to one of Delta State People’s Democratic Party’s big wigs, Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, former Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, former Delta State commissioner for works, political gladiator, and pragmatic leader ; RT. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon at his residence in Warri, Delta State.
Receiving The Dr. Tomone’s Divine Mandate Team , the erudite political think tank, RT. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon described Dr. Tomone’s ambition as ” a truly divinely mandated one”. After listening to the intentions of the Dr. Tomone’s Divine Mandate team, the impressed former Delta State Deputy Speaker commended the efforts of Dr. Tomone as his Blueprint and massive followership speaks volumes and insinuate conscious preparedness for the leadership of Burutu Local Government Council.
RT. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon gave Tomone his blessings and assures him of his full support. The Delta PDP big wig recounting on Tomone’s selfless commitments , gestured a vote of confidence on Tomome. He opined that as a business mastermind, Tomone has the requisite competence to manage Burutu LGA and foster its development. Hon. Funkekeme also attested to the fact that Dr. Godspower Tomone is not a newcomer in serving the interest of Bututu LGA PDP.
Below is an excerpt of Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon’s remark on Tomone’s ambition.
“From all indications, it is evident that you have done a lot at the grass root for the Burutu Local Government PDP and your Blueprint shows that you don’t only have an ambition but a full blown Vision as plotted and crafted in there. Your zeal and readiness for the task of manning the Burutu Local Government Area Council Chair is crystallized in your Divine Mandate Team. I will definitely pray that you find what you seek”.
Dr. Tomone firmly reassured the Delta PDP big wig that he would stick to his intentions as clearly stated in his blueprint and ensure that Burutu Local Government grows in line with the More for Delta Agenda. Tomone also thanked the Delta State PDP leader for his warm reception and prayers.

Hon. Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme (JP), the Chairmanship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Burutu Local Government Council Election, has successfully concluded his 4-day Ward-to-Ward campaign across the 20 Wards of the local government council.
The campaign ship of Chief Takeme and his Councilorship candidates moored at its final harbour in the course of the weekend at Ogbolubiri Ward 9; a successful campaign he dedicated to God, while urging the electorates to come out in their numbers to vote for the PDP come July 13,2024
In the words of Hon. Takeme: “for the past four days, we have been campaigning from one Ward to the other. We went through the 20 Wards in the Local Government. We started from Ogulagha/Iduwini and went through all the wards.
“We want to start by thanking God Almighty because it is only God that can make it possible. It is only him that saw us through, as we drove through all the 20 wards.
“We traveled thousands of kilometers, sometimes in very difficult terrains and not one incident recorded; not one accident. In fact, we give thanks to Almighty God.
“First, let me start with the Chairman of our Campaign Council, Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin DG; Deputy Campaign, Secretary Campaign Council and other members of the Campaign Council for their wonderful and overwhelming coordination. Indeed we are deeply grateful for the continued support. May God bless you all”.
Dr Takeme went on to express his appreciation to stakeholders, party faithfuls, and supporters for their unwavering support and commitment to his vision, assuring them that he will not disappoint them if elected.
