Massive Crowd as Ayakoromo-born Ozobo Officially Declares for Burutu LGA Chairmanship Race

Ayakoromo native, Comrade Ozobo Austin, officially announced his ambition for Burutu Local Government chairmanship, kicking-off campaigns for the upcoming Delta State LG elections. The PDP ward leadership and Ayakoromo community applaud his bold move, expressing surprise at his kinsmen’s positive reception.
Embraced by his people, Ozobo revealed a comprehensive blueprint, garnering prayers from elders and PDP ward leaders. Ayakoromo resonates with enthusiasm as Ozobo’s declaration was aimed to break the two-decade dry spell of ward 7 in producing an elected LG chairman, commissioner and State house assembly member.
Ozobo secured massive community support for his commitment to representing them at the LG level. His promises include empowering women and youth, offering free fishing nets and boats to fishermen, and pledging an all-inclusive government that respects diversity in religion, status, and academic backgrounds.
In his address, Ozobo made his commitment to prompt staff payments, free notebooks, scholarships for outstanding science and mathematics students, bursaries for higher institution students, support for NDA and military training, free WAEC and NECO registration for top-performing students, and the provision of desks, among other assurances to the Burutu people.

Hon. Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme (JP), the Chairmanship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Burutu Local Government Council Election, has successfully concluded his 4-day Ward-to-Ward campaign across the 20 Wards of the local government council.
The campaign ship of Chief Takeme and his Councilorship candidates moored at its final harbour in the course of the weekend at Ogbolubiri Ward 9; a successful campaign he dedicated to God, while urging the electorates to come out in their numbers to vote for the PDP come July 13,2024
In the words of Hon. Takeme: “for the past four days, we have been campaigning from one Ward to the other. We went through the 20 Wards in the Local Government. We started from Ogulagha/Iduwini and went through all the wards.
“We want to start by thanking God Almighty because it is only God that can make it possible. It is only him that saw us through, as we drove through all the 20 wards.
“We traveled thousands of kilometers, sometimes in very difficult terrains and not one incident recorded; not one accident. In fact, we give thanks to Almighty God.
“First, let me start with the Chairman of our Campaign Council, Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin DG; Deputy Campaign, Secretary Campaign Council and other members of the Campaign Council for their wonderful and overwhelming coordination. Indeed we are deeply grateful for the continued support. May God bless you all”.
Dr Takeme went on to express his appreciation to stakeholders, party faithfuls, and supporters for their unwavering support and commitment to his vision, assuring them that he will not disappoint them if elected.
