Meet Chief, Apostle, Amb., Dr. God’spower Tomone, an illustrious son of Ogulagha Kingdom, a business tycoon, a seasoned politician, and philanthropist. He’s arguably one of the most preferred Aspirants in the race to Burutu Local Government Council Chairmanship, 2024.
Tomone is a Clergy, a grassroot politician who’s political career started off from the lowest helm of leader. Tomone was once a Public Relations Officer of the Ogulagha Kingdom Youths Council, before becoming the Chairman of Youbebe Community.
While service in this capacity, he was unanimously adopted as the Coordinating Lead of the popular Forcados, Youkri Integrated Project (FYIP). Due to his political sagacity and humanitarian excellence, Tomone have been accorded many revered decorations such as Chieftancy title in Ogulagha Kingdom, Peace Ambassador, Doctorate (Honorary Causa? amongst numerous Appreciation and Performance Awards.

He is the first aspirant to hand in a “Developmental Blueprint” to announce his unwavering confidence in delivering the dividends of democracy, once he is sworn in.
Apostle Godspower has planned to revive critical economic infrastructures such as the abandoned Burutu Sea Port. Next is to create a college of youth entrepreneurs from across all communities in Burutu Local Government Area (something similar to the Silicon Valley in the USA.). Provision of Portable Water, revival of the hailing healthcare and educational infrastructures, etcetera dominates the policy thrust of the “Justice of Peace”.
Visible testaments from amongst leaders of Burutu Local Government Area lay credence to Tomone’s wide acceptance.
The former member representing Burutu Constituency-1 in the Delta State House of Assembly, Chief, Hon. Daniel Yingi express confidence that Tomone will be incorruptible as he is an already made man.

Hon. Chief (Dr.) Julius Takeme (JP), the Chairmanship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Burutu Local Government Council Election, has successfully concluded his 4-day Ward-to-Ward campaign across the 20 Wards of the local government council.
The campaign ship of Chief Takeme and his Councilorship candidates moored at its final harbour in the course of the weekend at Ogbolubiri Ward 9; a successful campaign he dedicated to God, while urging the electorates to come out in their numbers to vote for the PDP come July 13,2024
In the words of Hon. Takeme: “for the past four days, we have been campaigning from one Ward to the other. We went through the 20 Wards in the Local Government. We started from Ogulagha/Iduwini and went through all the wards.
“We want to start by thanking God Almighty because it is only God that can make it possible. It is only him that saw us through, as we drove through all the 20 wards.
“We traveled thousands of kilometers, sometimes in very difficult terrains and not one incident recorded; not one accident. In fact, we give thanks to Almighty God.
“First, let me start with the Chairman of our Campaign Council, Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin DG; Deputy Campaign, Secretary Campaign Council and other members of the Campaign Council for their wonderful and overwhelming coordination. Indeed we are deeply grateful for the continued support. May God bless you all”.
Dr Takeme went on to express his appreciation to stakeholders, party faithfuls, and supporters for their unwavering support and commitment to his vision, assuring them that he will not disappoint them if elected.
