A Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogulagha/Iduwini Ward-11, Prince (Dr.) Peretengboro Klintin Bibaikefie, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Member Representing Burutu Constituency-1 in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Peter Asupa Forteta, on his recent victory at the Appeal Court, and call for calm and a peaceful rerun elections.

This was contained in a congratulations message by the former State Assembly contender.

Hon. Forteta had challenged the elections victory of his major challenger and candidate of the APC, Hon. Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo, and secured a judgement ordering a rerun in within 90 days in two wards, at the National and State Assembly Tribunal sitting in Asaba, before returning victorious once again as the Appellate Court upheld the judgement of the Tribunal.

IduwiniVoice Newspaper recall that Hon. Forteta, the then incumbent legislator lost to Hon. Alapala, his major challenger in the March 2023 elections.

Prince Peretengboro however admonished that, both men and their supporters exercise decorum and shun all forms of electoral vices as they prepares for rerun elections in the coming days.

Speaking on behalf of the Committee, Akemotubo cited Opudu’s long-standing experience both as a security expert and custodian of traditional values as a prerequisite for his invitation.
