Ogulagha/Iduwini Ward-11 PDP Youth Leader Peretengboro Congratulates Pondi on Appeal Court Victory.

By Anthony Beauty,

A Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogulagha/Iduwini Ward-11, Prince (Dr.) Peretengboro Klintin Bibaikefie, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Member Representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Julius Gbabozor Pondi, on his recent victory at the Appeal Court.

This well-deserved judgement marks a significant milestone for Hon. Julius Gbabozor Pondi, who has proven himself to be a true trailblazer and the people’s representative. His victory at the Appeal Court reaffirms the trust that the people of Burutu Federal Constituency have placed in him.

In a statement personally signed by Prince Peretengboro, he expressed his delight in the outcome of the legal battle and commended Hon. Pondi for his unwavering commitment to serving the constituents. He stated, “Your Appeal Court victory did not come as a surprise at all given the fact that you are the only one Burutu people entrusted their Constituency to.”

The statement also highlighted the unity and dedication of the Burutu people, who rallied across party lines to support Hon. Pondi, both at the polls and in their prayers for the courts to uphold the mandate given to him by the people.

Prince Peretengboro praised Hon. Pondi’s remarkable accomplishments as an ambassador of the Burutu people, mentioning his contributions to bills, projects, and personal resourcefulness. He emphasized the need to reward those who have shown dedication and effectiveness in representing the constituency.

The statement concluded with a call for Hon. Pondi to continue excelling in his political achievements, assuring him of the pride and support of the people of Burutu Federal Constituency, especially the residents of Ogulagha/Iduwini Ward-11.

It is essential to note that the legal battle was initiated by Hon. Efiriaendi Agbeotu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who came second in the February 25, 2023 polls and had appealed the earlier victory of Hon. Pondi at the Elections Tribunal. The Appeal Court, sitting in Lagos, dismissed Agbeotu’s suit, citing a lack of merit and the rejection of fresh evidence that had not been presented at the Tribunal.

Hon. Julius Gbabozor Pondi’s victory at the Appeal Court is a testament to his continued dedication and the faith the constituents have in his ability to represent their interests effectively. The Burutu Federal Constituency looks forward to his continued service for their betterment.

ELECTRICITY: 32 TRANSFORMERS TO POWER THE ARK TO BE POWERED – OYEDEPO

Published

on

BREAKING:

By Admin

Bishop Oyedepo has announced that 32 transformers will be used to power the Ark when it comes on stream after it’s November dedication. According to him, during the second service yesterday, 4th May 2025 at the Faith Tabernacle, this will be required because of the large power requirement at the new building. The Ark will have 129 elevators, travelators and escalators which will move worshippers including elderly people and in other cases, challenged folks who require healing up and down the 4 floor, 109,000 capacity bowl as well as the 5,000 capacity youth church and 20,000 seat children’s church. Additionally, the staff will operate between the 12 twin tower mission headquarters and use of the staircase may not always be practicable.

Canaanland already had a 15MW Power plant installed in 2016 but this will be inadequate for power needs of the Ark. The Dome will also draw 1MW of solar energy to the facility while the roof is designed to gather rain 🌧 water to aid in flushing the 1,200 restrooms by gravity.

The transformers located at the new power plant required to power plant is much bigger than the present plant.
It is believed to be already under construction and would be finished in time for the dedication of the Ark.

The new Megawatt power plant reported to be 80MW will help to supply electricity to the whole of Canaanland including The Ark, Covenant University, Canaan City and possibly some parts of Ota.

According to Bishop Oyedepo, Canaanland has never experienced a complete electricity blackout since 1999 contrary to the norm in Nigeria.
