Etimigba (JP) described Pondi’s appointment as long overdue and very well deserved, given his Legislative Sagacity, astute representation and vast environmental experience, having grown from the very grassroot of politics.
He further added that Pondi is a ranking member of the House of Representatives by any standard, being a third timer, with so many pan Nigerian Bills, motions and contributions to national-building.
Amb. Evans posited that only the top is befitting for men like Rt. Hon. Julius Gbabozor Pondi as he has performed exceptionally well. Hence can only be wished the very best in all his endeavours.
Etimigba assured of the resolute stand of not just Ward-11 people, but Burutu and of course, all Nigerians to enable Pondi succeed in this honourous task.
He also assured that as an advocate for environmental justice and protection, Nigerians should expect nothing but the best from Pondi in his capacity as the House Committee Chairman on Environment.
