Warri ____ Former two time Executive Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Council of Delta State, Hon. George Ekpemupolo is set to lay to eternal rest the remains of his late Grandmother in-law, Mama Teiyenbebebo Dumbo, aged 92 at her home Town Aleibiri Community, Ekeremor LGA, Bayelsa State, the Niger Delta Mirror reported.

In a statement released on Thursday and signed by himself in Warri, the Okerenkoko born simple, humble and highly respected successful business tycoon, philanthropist cum politician, Hon. George Ekpemupolo specially requests family, friends, business associates and well wishers to join him in giving his late Grandmother in-law a befitting final burial rites tomorrow Friday 7, at Aleibiri Community.

According to the burial invitation:

Friday 7th July, 2023: Social Wake-keep till dawn starting by 8:00PM.

Saturday 8th July, 2023: lnternment/In-laws greeting at her residence in Peretugbene Aleibiri by 9:00AM Prompt.

She is survived by children, many grand children, Great, grand children, Great Great grandchildren, Daughter in-laws, Son in-laws and many other relatives too numerous to mention.

The revered monarch of the kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Pere Joel Ekeni Ibani JP, Ogiobo-IX, Grand Pere of Iduwini Kingdom, personally performed the conferment rites before an enthusiastic gathering of chiefs, cultural custodians, community leaders, and indigenes.

The event, marked by colourful traditional displays and deep cultural symbolism, underscores the kingdom’s commitment to recognising individuals who have distinguished themselves in service, leadership, and loyalty to the Iduwini heritage.
