Ekpedibo, Wife To Celebrate 30th Marriage Anniversary In Udu On June 11, Godknows Angele To Chair The Occasion

By Demebide Anthony

Marriage is the most celebrated ceremony in the world. It’s a beautiful thing, just as the scriptures say in Genesis 2:24, “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.”

The blessings of marriage are evident in Proverbs 18 : 22, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord.”

A peaceful marriage is not necessarily without misunderstanding and some forms of problems but the ability of both partners to uphold the very tenets of love, tolerance and forgiveness.

In line with the above lines, Chief & Mrs Yerin Ekpedibo Yerin had upheld their marital vows for 30 years from 1993.

Ekpedibo, who was a pioneer member of the Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu North and a former caretaker committee chairman of Burutu Local Government Area, with his astonishingly beautiful wife had informed Ultimate Report Nigeria that the marriage anniversary ceremony will begin with a thanksgiving at All Saints Catholic Church, Vigilante Post, Ekete Waterside at 6:30am on Sunday 11 June, 2023.

Meanwhile, the second phase of the celebrations which is the reception shall be taking place by 12pm at T-Junction, Ekete Waterside, Off Orhuwhorun Road, Ovwian, Udu LGA after the thanksgiving service.

Further information on the arrangements entailed that one of Ijaw young and most outstanding musicians, Peter M.D. Samuel shall be thrilling guests with the best Owigiri performance.

Also, the Tripartite MC, Akpolokpolo – The Creek MC, one of Niger Delta most vivacious and articulating lord of the microphone would be on stage to add a great blend of humour to the atmosphere.

The celebrants had therefore used this medium to invite the general public to share with them the joy in their celebration of love in marital togetherness with God’s gift of life and several other blessings.

Other arrangements are on top gear to take care of all guests, entertainment-wise, while ceremonious activities shall be under the distinguished chairmanship of Rt. Hon. Godknows Angele, the performing executive chairman of Burutu LGA.
