An addend believer and patriotic son of Ijaw nation from Furupa Kingdom in Bayelsa State, Engr. Ebieritei James Fawei, has added his voice to the myriad of prayers, as more encomiums continue to pour in, in commemoration of foremost Niger Delta Leader, security expert and custodian of the Ijaw cultural heritage, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, (aka Tompolo).
The revered Engr. who spoke with our correspondent described Tompolo as a true son of Ijaw Nation that have successfully become the leading light and arguably the next father of not just Ijaw nation, but the entire Niger Delta region.
Fawei posited that the relative peace enjoyed in the Niger Delta is a direct product of the many works of Tompolo, who’s efforts made it possible for the region and the federal government to reach some valuable truce in the wake of this millennium.
Explaining further, he said Tompolo Tantita Security’s achievement in safeguarding the oil facilities in the Niger Delta and the associated sharp improvement in the Oil Sector gives more credence to his demonstrated capacity in the Maritime Industry via his Global West Vessel and Security company which turned around NIMASA’s fortunes.
Fawei continued that, kingdoms across Ijaw nation are currently bubbling with a lot of cultural and traditional carnivals and festivities, fostering peace and unity, thanks to Tompolo’s tenacity towards keeping our Ijaw cultural heritage alive.
“May God Almighty, heaven and earth guide and guard this illustrious leader of not only Ijaw Nation and Niger Delta, but of the entire Nigeria, as he celebrate his birth anniversary.” Fawei prayed for Tompolo.

During a visit by Wike’s political allies to the Ijaw National Congress (INC) yesterday in Yenagoa, leaders emphasized the Ijaw nation’s unwavering support for Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State.
INC Chairman Prof. Benjamin Okaba urged Ijaw politicians to prioritize the interests of Rivers State and the Ijaw people over personal political allegiances. Addressing Sen. George Sekibo, Boma Iyaye, and others, Okaba stated, “You can be loyal to Wike, but don’t let your loyalty sabotage the interest of Ijaw people.”
