Some Psychological Facts About Love.
This is a common question amongst very curious minds. Not for much of what it is, but to understand how dramatic the phenomenon of love plays out.
The February 12, 2023 Sunday School topic for the Youth and Young Adults Class of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) dwelled up on the difference between Crush and Love.
I guess the emphasis was focused on establishing that Crush was canal and unholy while love was godly and scriptural.
But, what is love? How does love begin, develop, diminish, and die between two adults?
- Love is actually 3 feelings in 1: lust, attraction, and attachment.
- Women tend to feel loved when talking face-to-face with their partners whereas men feel emotionally close when they play or talk side-by-side.
- Unlike the common misconception that women are more emotional, men tend to fall in love much faster.
- Love hormone is what you need for headaches.
- One’s sense of smell is tied very closely to memory. Your sense of smell plays a huge role in love.
- People with higher IQs have a harder time falling in love.
- When two strangers merely stare at each other, they can fall in love. This sounds the trangest, right?
- Your online profile pictures play a crucial role in attracting a crush. Do you agree?
- Looks may win in terms of first impressions – but personality tends to win out long-term. Could this be a factor in the breakages of celeb marriages?
- Kissing can help you choose the right partner. The frequency of kissing was associated with the quality of the relationship. Does your partner resist kissing? Have you bordered to discuss and find out?
In all, which of the above applies to you? A lot, I guess.

During a visit by Wike’s political allies to the Ijaw National Congress (INC) yesterday in Yenagoa, leaders emphasized the Ijaw nation’s unwavering support for Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State.
INC Chairman Prof. Benjamin Okaba urged Ijaw politicians to prioritize the interests of Rivers State and the Ijaw people over personal political allegiances. Addressing Sen.
